Freedom for Life Programs

Freedom for Life helps organize a variety of programs focusing on ability and the power of positive thinking.

24 Hours of Freedom

May 2009 will mark the first annual fundraising event, 24 Hours of Freedom. This event will be a 24-hour, 175-mile team relay adventure, beginning in Flagstaff, Arizona and ending in Phoenix. People with disabilities and the adapted means to participate with a team are invited to join in for this exciting mainstream adventure sporting event.

Next Step Grant

The costs of rehabilitation can overwhelming. The Next Step Grant provides necessary neurological rehab for those who have sustained head and spinal cord injuries and lack sufficient resources. Contact us to learn more about Next Step Grant or send a donation payable "Freedom for Life" and noting it is intended for the Next Step Grant program.

Got Dirt?

Join Freedom for Life and Banner Health Network for this unique off-road wheelchair skills and technique clinic. Throughout the year, participants are introduced to the ONE OFF—an adapted off-road wheelchair. Along with learning proficient operation, participants can experience the natural and wilderness environments of the desert and mountains that are typically not accessible.
